The program aims to provide students with:

  • Knowledge and understanding of modern business, management and automotive systems and processes, and their application within the industry in order to relate to the operation management and commercial sectors of the transportation and automotive industries, and,
  • Competence in the skills required to manage the operation of an automotive retail business organization.

Admission Requirements:

  1. A pass in SPM with at least Credit in any 3 subjects or any equivalent qualification;
  2. A pass in SKM Level 3 in a related field, and a pass in SPM with a minimum of 1 Credit in any subject;
  3. Any qualifications equivalent to Certificate (Level 3, MQF).

Diploma in Automotive Technology (Light Vehicles)

Programme Outcome/Synopsis:

The program aims to provide students with:

  • knowledge and understandings of modern light automotive systems and processes, and their application within the industry in order to relate to the repairing, servicing and diagnosing requirements of an ever demanding business environment, and,
  • competence in the skills required to service, repair and diagnose complex systems and components within the light motor vehicles.

  2. Recognised Certificate in Engineering / Engineering Technology or its equivalent;
  3. Recognised  related Vocational  and Technical / Skills  Certificate or its equivalent with ONE (1) year of relevant work experience or a minimum of ONE (1) semester of a bridging programme.
